It's hard to believe it's been a year since I've been here. It was so nice that the manager Bithi and Ram were able to remembered me after all this time! It's important for me to say that any neighborhood restaurant should come here for schooling on how to properly take care of a customer. I can honestly say that outside of some select hi end restaurants like Daniel or Le Bernadin, in Manhattan, it's hard to find a restaurant who's entire staff is so polite, attentive and makes you feel like a true guest. It's a BYOB restaurant, it usually gets busy at night. I don't know what I can say to emphasis how great everything was, that I already said in my last review. We had the Atithi special platter, shrimp curry, Nan bread and Bithi prepared a special version of her chicken curry and grilled chicken for me to try. I was very impressed and very full. The food is authentic, fresh, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. At the end of the meal, Bithi came over to share some personal stories about her goals and aspirations for the restaurant. She really understands customers and customer service. Never once did anyone push anything on us. Just like every restaurant there are a few Yelp or Google reviews that were low stars. Customer perception is reality. I can only tell you that Bithi appreciates the customer feedback and will work to overcome any challenges customers bring to her attention in the reviews. She really "owns it", which was so nice to see. I would highly recommend this restaurant and say without a doubt it's one of the best all around Indian restaurants I have been to period.

Delicious Indian food with friendly service. I came to dine in during lunch time, and they have a good lunch offering where you get a size-able samosa + lunch entree. The food is fragrant and delicious. Highly recommend! 5/5

Delicious food & amazing service! I did not get the name of our waiter but he was amazing. I went two weeks ago and I've been craving their chicken masala, samosas & chutney every since! Keep in mind that the spice is real hunny - I'm Jamaican so I'm accustomed to super spicy food but their food is spicy spicy. I LOVED it but just wanted to give a warning lol. 10/10 recommend Also, it's BYOB!

This place is sooo good. They have a great lunch deal. We shared the Lamb Spring Rolls and Garlic Naan. Both were sooo good and the spring rolls came with a delicious yogurt sauce. For my main, I got the Chicken Samosa and Chicken Vindaloo. The samosa was huge but the filling was amazing and had a bit of a kick. BEWARE: The chicken vindaloo is SPICY. They warned me and they were not kidding. The flavor was delicious, but it really has a lot of heat to it. Overall, great meal and lots of leftovers as the food was super filling. My only complaint was that the waitress kept trying to clear our table when we were packing our to go boxes. Like I'm still eating some of my naan and felt like I had to stop eating because she was taking all my plates and utensils like girl just give us 5 minutes here.

So sad I did not take a pic of my food but the lamb biryani was the most delicious dish I've had. The yogurt sauce that came with was an excellent pair that cooled down the spiciness. Had a sip of the mango smoothie with but SOOO tasty esp on a hot day. More yogurt than fruit so if you're worried about too much sweetness, you're ok! Employees are super kind and very attentive! Love the people

If you're in the mood for some top-notch Indian food, look no further than Atithi. This place absolutely nails it when it comes to both flavor and service. The ambiance inside the restaurant was also great. Not too loud, and the lighting was just right for dinner. We tried a few dishes, and everything was on point. The garlic naan was a standout. Speaking of which, both the chicken korma and lamb korma were phenomenal. Rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The service at Atithi was equally impressive. Our server was attentive and made sure our water glasses never went below half, which was much appreciated. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall great experience. So, if you're looking for a fantastic Indian meal, head to Atithi and make sure to try the garlic naan.

So I've ordered from this restaurant a million times but this is my first time finally dining in. Im not sure what I expected but it was a pretty decent experience. The inside was a bit on the cozier side and dimly lit which was fine, nothing extravagant. The service was slower than I expected, nothing awful but just not great, took a long for everything to come especially if we asked for anything extra. The medium spicy chicken tikka wasn't as spicy as it is when I order takeout but that was ok. The Garlic naan was delicious, samosas were maybe a 7/10, not as flavorful as it used to be but still good. Overall like I said it was a decent experience but ill just stick to takeout so I wont have to worry about service delays!

Service is the star of the show at this buzzing Indian eatery in Williamsburg. Atithi translates to "Guest" in Hindi and they do take that seriously with warm, attentive hospitality even on a busy weekend night. The food is great too. Samosas are mind blowing. Bombay bhel needs improvement. Paneer makhani has generous pieces of paneer and a sweet-spicy flavor. Garlic naan and Roti are on point. They listened to our feedback and also gave us Gulab Jamun on the house. Delightful! Overall highly recommend Atithi.

Amazing place with delicious food and incredible service! We came by on a weekday evening and can't tell if it was because of the weather but there was a decent number of seats available but so many delivery orders (i've never seen a restaurant with so much!). We got: - Atithi special platter 9/10: we couldn't decide on which appetizers so we got this platter and it was a fantastic choice! The lamb spring roll in particular is phenomenal, highly recommended. And as you can see, the samosas are respectable size. - chicken korma 10/10: excellent and creamy, perfect contrast to - lamb vinadloo 10/10: our waitress warned us it would be spicy and it indeed was! We were pleasantly surprised and it was incredibly delicious - garlic naan 9/10: solid naan, very chewy - gulab jamun 8/10: i prefer mine to be slightly more crispy but otherwise it was still good Service was also top notch, which i normally don't notice so i felt like the staff went above and beyond, especially considering the number of takeout orders they were dealing with.
